Blog Your Way To Higher Profits

Blogging has become the social networker’s way of connecting to his audience. Still, many business owners are hesitant to use blogging as a marketing tool for two primary reasons:
1) Many business owners don’t understand the power of the blog.
2) Others ask, “What the heck is a blog?”
Blogging is a public journal on the web that takes on the personality of the author. A lot of individuals use blogging as a way to express their thoughts about anything to the public at large. For just a few moments, I want you to open your mind to the possibilities of what blogging can do for your business.
If you own a business and you want to attract more customers, blogging will establish you as an expert — the expert — in your niche market. Think about it. Let’s say you sell building supplies, and you’ve decided to use blogging as an extension of your store. What better way to let customers know you and what you have to offer than to journal about do-it-yourself projects?
Here’s how it works. Each week, choose a topic that is of interest to your target audience. For instance, you can write about how weather stripping can save up to 15% on your heating and cooling costs. This is fairly simple to do yourself, and you can write a short how-to blog about weather stripping. Since your store sells the supplies your customer needs to do the project themselves, they can conveniently order online while the idea is fresh in their minds.
Blogging works well because it’s casual. You don’t have to have an English degree to be a good blogger. In fact, it works better if you just start writing and let it all hang out. Here are a few key points you need to know if you want to use blogging to sell more merchandise.
* Let your personality shine. The best way to write a blog is to just sit down and let the ideas flow as naturally as they would in casual conversation. Your goal is to make a personal connection with your target audience, so you don’t want your blog to read like a textbook.
* Keep your entries short. Give your readers something quick to read. Focus on one topic that you can talk about in 500 words or less.
* Put yourself in your readers’ shoes. Listen to your readers and write about what they’re interested in.
* Keep your eye on the money. Customers love to buy, but they don’t want to be sold. Use your blog as a soft sell technique.
Blogging has become the 21st century’s marketer’s weapon for increasing profits. Establish yourself as an expert, include a short biography that tells readers who you are and a little about your business, and include a visible link that takes visitors to your online store. By taking a few minutes each week to make a virtual connection with your customers, you can stay first in your customers’ minds and they’ll reward you by buying what you have to sell.

Earn with PayDotCom

I am always looking for new ways to earn money online. Not everything forks for me so I just keep looking around to find something that WILL work.
Basically, PayDotCom is very similar to a well known program called ClickBank.
It’s an affiliate marketing program for both – vendors (sellers) and affiliates.
As a vendor you can sell your products and services through PayDotCom online marketplace, and let them take care of all your affiliate needs.
Advantages of PayDotCom are:
- Purchases pay instantly to your PayPal account.
- Sell physical products and Digital Goods.
- Collect Subscriptions for your service or membership sites.
- Get Paid Instantly.
- No Pre Approval.
- Stats Tracking.
- Promotional tools for your affiliates.
- Create a new product line in 60 seconds.
With PayDotCom, your customers can pay you via your PayPal account. They can use their available PayPal funds or they can use their Checking Account, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and other credit/debit cards that they have added to their PayPal account.
You can set the suggested retail price for your product to ANY price that you like. PayDotCom does NOT set a price limit on your products.
PayDotCom Vendor Accounts are free. You can get a free Vendor account to sell your product and if you want start more than 1 product line, then you’re able to buy a Premium membership ($29, One time fee).
As an affiliate you can promote products found in PayDotCom marketplace and earn commissions. You can earn sales commissions up to 80% by linking your customers to any of products and services in the marketplace.
Under each product or service in the marketplace you’ll see a description of the affiliate program. Just click on the description to promote that product or service.
What I like here is that some vendors has added their own promotional materials – like emails, banners (various sizes), so you don’t need to spend time by creating your own banners for programs. But to say truth – not all vendors has done this yet, so…
The Vendor will pay you your commissions each month by mass pay to your PayPal account or by check. The Vendor chooses how to pay you. You must have an account with PayPal to get paid if the Vendor does not choose to send checks.
PayDotCom’s fee to the Affiliate is $0.50 to $1.50 for each transaction – based on the sale price of the product/service sold.
Fee Schedule:
Sale price $0.01 to $10 – Fee $1.00 – Split by Vendor and Affiliate 50/50
Sale price $10.01 to $20 – Fee $2.00 – Split by Vendor and Affiliate 50/50
Sale price $20.01 and over – Fee $3.00 – Split by Vendor and Affiliate 50/50
