US Clears Google Buyout of Online Ad Giant DoubleClick

US regulators Thursday cleared a plan by Google to buy online advertising giant DoubleClick, a tie-up that has sparked concerns about privacy risks and still faces a challenge in the European Union…

Now , when Google Page Rank is finally updated for most of sites, I am selling my domain name: Blogging4EveryOne.info

It now has very nice Google Page Rank 4 and some nice back-links (even some which are purchased from directories for 1 year and active a least till Juny 2008). It was a blog about blogging, but now website is deleted and this is just the domain name.

What IS Google Page Rank

I was looking around the net to find what actually IS Google Page Rank. And here is what I found so far.As stated on Google official site:

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.” Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages’ relative importance.

Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your query.

The page rank of any web site depends on some factors. The factors are following:

• Relavent Links
• Link Structure of the web Page
• Age of the website
• Relavancy of internal pages
• Anchor text which is used for link Building
• High PR Link Exchange

Did you know that new Page Rank update is coming (I believe you know that already, I read about it on many blogs lately) . No one knows the exact date, but all webmasters are preparing sites to this event. Are you already ready?

You can check your sites, blogs and do some things to get better rank. Try to get all your pages indexed! Be active in bloggers communities like BlogCatalog, MyBlogLog, StumbleUpon, Technorati – get your blog favorited and linked. Use correct keywords for your blog and your posts!
