URL Changed

Probably I should do this faster… I have moved my blog from folder “wordpress” to main directory, so now our new URL is http://www.niggybuzz.com

Please, update it to your Technorati favorites and bookmarks (feedreaders).

I am very sorry for all the mess but I believe that this was needed step, now our address is more easty to remember and not so long as it was.

Also, if you have NiggyBuzz blog to your blogroll included - update that link too. I am here to stay LOL with this new link and I promise - no more changes with URLs

To make the transfer even better; make sure you have a re-direct from the old address to the new one. Then you won’t have any troubles with people getting an error on the old address

Or you could just have changed the settings in Wordpress without having to move any folders. Then it would have been this in Options-General:
WordPress address: http://www.niggybuzz.com/wordpress/
Blog address: http://www.niggybuzz.com
That would have solved the problem right away

Hiya. What has been your experience by changing the address of the blog? Did you loose a lot of traffic, or did it in fact increase since people could remember it more easily?

Just curious, as I am thinking about doing something similar with one of my very old blogs.
