The News Room is the premier source for news content online. It’s all free, fully licensed and available for you to embed, or “mash,” onto your website or blog!

When you join, you automatically share in the advertising revenue every time a mashed story is viewed on your site. It’s free, but you have to join to participate!

  • Build your audience
  • Keep them on your site
  • Put relevant, timely news on your site.
  • Make money via advertising share, CPM start at $1
  • Earn prizes including electronics, vacations, and cars when you participate
  • It’s all free!

MASH FOR CASH

When you use the mash button to embed a news story or a news feed (with advertising) onto your website or blog you begin earning revenue. This is a win win for bloggers who value high quality content to enhance or support their opinion and who blog for profit.

VIRAL PAYMENT PLAN

Earn a share of the advertising revenue each time mashed news is viewed on your site. TheNewsRoom has an innovative, viral payment model that can earn you up to $4 per thousand impressions (CPM). You’ll also earn money when someone mashes content from your site and it is viewed on theirs. This is well above current industry standards that are typically around $0.15 CPM. Take advantage by mashing and encouraging your friends to mash from your site!

Each time news content mashed from TheNewsRoom is viewed on your site, you’ll earn a guaranteed CPM (cost per thousand impressions). You’ll also earn money when someone mashes content from your site and it is viewed on theirs.

LOYALTY PROGRAM PRIZES

In addition to Mashing for Cash, registrants of TNR can earn prizes from digital cameras to a new car as part of our loyalty program.

I tried these guys a few weeks ago. Overall, I was pretty happy with the service, but my only complaint is that the video starts playing as soon as the page loads. Being that I was doing some maintenance on the site at the time, I probably saw/heard the video 100+ times throughout the day.

I really wish they set it up like embedded YouTube videos, where you still have to click the video to start playing.
